Anthony Scopellite

           Anthony has lived in Signal Butte Ranch with his wife, Celene, and daughter, Ciara, for over 10 years. Concerned with many of the issues facing Signal Butte Ranch residents, Anthony has served on the board for the past 3 years (1 year as a director, 2 years as president, and 1 year as the Social Committee Chairman). Anthony has saved the community thousands of dollars over the last 2 years by forming a group of neighbors to help cover up graffiti. Anthony and his family, along with the help of some neighbors, orchestrated community events such as: Trunk-O-Treat, the Salsa Contest, Movie in the Park, and the New Years Eve Bash. Anthony believes that through the efforts of the Board, they will continue to bring family and community together. His proven ability and commitment make Anthony the candidate of choice for the Signal Butte Ranch HOA Board of Directors.

 

Art Martinez

          Art has lived in the community since 1998 and is a retired business owner. He has served as a board member for the last 2 years and has brought many ideas and concerns to the board. He was instrumental in persuading the board to hire security when he heard about the rise in crime amongst neighbors. Art believes he will continue to make a good board member because of his experience as a business owner, concern for the community, knowledge and awareness of the community, and pride that will help him make better decisions for the community.

 

Mark Curtice

          Mark has lived in Signal Butte Ranch since November of 2005. He is an Arizona native and has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine and a Masters Degree in Material Science and Engineering from Columbia University, NY. He currently works for Intel as an engineer. Mark was appointed to the board in October of 2009 and has helped with various events including but not limited to the annual community picnic and monthly activities held at the park. He has also supplied popcorn and cupcakes at the monthly meetings held at Patterson Elementary School. He also picks up trash around the neighborhood while walking his dog as he believes everyone has the responsibility to be involved. Mark has been serving on the board for five months now, and feels he has a good understanding of the workings of the board. He would like to continue to serve on the board and begin to sponsor community improvement opportunities.

 

Michael Byrd

          Michael has lived in Signal Butte Ranch since July of 1999 and has served Signal Butte Ranch for the past 3 years on the Architectural Committee. Previously, he served as a board member for 2 years. He has also served as a board member another HOA in California; 2 years as President and 2 years as Vice-President. Michael is the owner/operator of 2 restaurants in the valley. He has over 20 years experience in management and district manager positions.

 

Rhonda Lesher

           Rhonda has lived in the community with her family for over 12 years. Rhonda finished her education at ASU, and became a registered nurse. She currently works from home for GE Consumer Finance. She has served on a number of boards and committees, including serving as President of and HOA. She has also volunteered for several organizations including the City of Mesa handling many safety concerns. She has worked with a variety of local, state and federal government agencies as well and participated in Maricopa County STOPS program. She has dealt with a variety of situations including house fires, residential burglaries, missing children, thefts from vehicles, prowlers, etc. She has also spoken at neighborhood civic associations meetings and at city council meetings. She is very proud to be a part of Signal Butte Ranch and wants to make it the best it can be for her neighbors and family. She is currently serving on the board as the treasurer and as the acting chairman for the Architectural Control Committee along with the current Graffiti Committee. She is willing to dedicate her time and skills to the Board to help ensure that Signal Butte Ranch stays beautiful. Her vision for the future is to work with the association in ensuring a safe community. Her main goal is to continue to protect everyone’s interest with minimum impact to the homeowner.

 

Richard Scheffer

           Richard is one of the original owners in Signal Butte Ranch and has continuously attended board meetings through the years. He lives with his wife, Mary, and young son, Drew, and is familiar with all the different facets of the community as far as parks and playground equipment, etc. He ran his own business for 20 years and is a jack of most trades. Richard has always been interested in the community and is now able to bring his expertise and time to the table to serve the board. Richard will bring knowledge and stability to the board as he has seen what has and hasn’t worked in the past. He wants to keep Signal Butte Ranch looking great!

If you vote online, or mail your ballot, you will not be provided another ballot, your vote will be final.  If you vote online twice on the same day, your last vote will be counted, we will assume you made an error and corrected it. Any subsequent votes using your unique number will be disregarded. If you have lost your Voter Id number you may contact Renaissance at 480-813-6788 to receive your confidential number. Pursuant to You Association's Bylaws, you must be current in payment of all funds owed the Association for your vote to be counted. If you attend the meeting in-person you may rescind your online vote and re-cast your vote.
